Berbatov tipped to stay at Spurs
Dimitar Berbatov's agent has reiterated that the striker is likely to remain at Tottenham for at least another year, despite links to Manchester United.
The 26-year-old's representative Emil Dantchev insisted in April that Berbatov was staying put.
And Dantchev told the Guardian: "Nothing has changed - except the number of goals he has scored. He is very happy with Tottenham."
Bulgarian Berbatov has scored 22 goals in his first season at Spurs.
Berbatov arrived at White Hart Lane in a £10.9m deal from German side Bayer Leverkusen a year ago.
Reports have now suggested that he is being targeted by United manager Sir Alex Ferguson, who wants to strengthen his squad in readiness to defend the Premiership crown next season, while Chelsea have also been linked to Berbatov.
However, Tottenham manager Martin Jol stated last week that Berbatov is not for sale.
"I have no fears - from anybody or any circumstances," said Jol. "The chairman would not sanction it, even if I would like to.
"I don't see any reason why we should. We made a lot of profit over the last six months and we don't have to sell."
Spurs midfielder Jemaine Jenas has urged the White Hart Lane outfit to do everything possible to hang on to Berbatov.
Jenas added: "We don't want Berbatov to go anywhere. We are a club that is about building and pushing forward and if we want to keep doing that we have to keep Dimitar - and I am sure the club will do that.
"I think he is priceless after the way he has performed for the club this season. I think it will be tougher for him next year but it was a great acquisition last summer."
