Timberlake signs for Myers film
US star Justin Timberlake has joined the cast of actor Mike Myers' new movie, The Love Guru, according to film trade magazine Variety.
It is the second time the stars have teamed up after they both voiced characters in the third Shrek film.
Myers, who is co-producing the comedy, plays a man who was raised by gurus and goes on to issue marriage guidance.
Timberlake, who is currently on tour with his Future Sex/Love Show, recently appeared in the film Alpha Dog.
Jessica Alba, best known for appearing in Fantastic Four, will also star in the movie, along with Romany Malco who was in ice skating comedy Blades of Glory.
Verne Troyer, who starred as Mini Me in Myers' Austin Powers series, has also secured a part in the film.
Filming starts next month in Toronto, Canada, with Marco Schnabel directing.
Timberlake, who rose to fame with boy band N'Sync, has sold more than 13 million copies of his first two solo albums.
Earlier this month he received seven nominations at the US MTV Video Music Awards, including male artist of the year.
